While I didn't really need to assemble my Blackbird as I have most the tools and Allen wrenches of my own it is a must when riding. I have been using it to make small adjustment to the handle bar position for example "on the fly". Haven't really used it a whole lot but for the price it is a no brainer to pick up. Oh yeah, it is well made and strong, won't bend or fall apart.
